About the author

Adrienne is a native of Detroit, MI. She loves spending time with her family, traveling and relaxing by the water. 

Mission: She writes thought-provoking contemporary fiction and romance stories to uplift women and give hope of a world that is without judgement but full of love, forgiveness, and self-worth. 

Purpose: She writes to uplift women while telling stories of diversity, uplifting Black voices, and overcoming life obstacles.  

Edwards is a teacher, and  a mentor to women & young girls. She founded Discovering Beautiful Minds publishing to help other writers go after their dreams to become published authors.

She is an advocate for women equality and supports all women. Her love for reading when she was a young girl, inspired her to become a poet. Her commitment to helping young girls and women find their self-worth, and her endeavors to bridge the gap between gender stereotypes and injustices is what inspires her to write women's fiction and contemporary fiction.

Edwards educational background includes a BA of English Literature, and an MA degree in English and Creative Writing with a concentration in fiction. 

I write contemporary fiction stories to up lift women that will give them messages of hope, love, redemption, forgiveness, support, and self-worth. 

My journey would not be possible without my supporters.. I'm grateful for the feedback and messages of how my supporters have been inspired by my writing.

My goals are simple; to be authentic, and to give each story my all. It's important to keep my stories authentic and true to my audience. You are awesome!
